It is easiest for guests to purchase gifts online, directly from the stores included on your registry. However, items can also be purchased from any other store that carries the item, online or offline.
When a gift is purchased from a store other than the one indicated on the registry, guests will need to return to the registry, locate the item and click the button to BUY NOW. Clicking to purchase the item will redirect you to the store to complete the order. However, the registry remains open in a separate window asking Did you buy this gift? to confirm if the order was processed. By answering YES to this question and following the prompts, the item will instantly be marked as received on the registry.
**(If the item was added from a SYNC store registry, guests will need to contact the registry retailer directly to update the actual store registry withs the purchase, then gifts from that store are marked as purchased automatically on our site once the store registry reflects the purchase.)**
