Can items be purchased from a different store than the one listed in the registry or from a local store?

Yes! It is easiest for guests to purchase gifts online, directly from the stores included on your registry. However, items can also be purchased from any other store, either online or offline.

  • When a gift is purchased from a store other than the one indicated on the registry, guests will need to:
    • Return to the registry and locate the item.
    • Click the BUY NOW button. This will redirect them to the store to complete the order.
    • The registry will remain open in a separate window asking, "Did you buy this gift?" By answering YES and following the prompts, the item will instantly be marked as purchased on the registry.

TIP: If the item was added from a SYNC store registry, guests will need to contact the registry retailer directly to update the actual store registry with the purchase. Once the store registry reflects the purchase, gifts from that store will automatically be marked as purchased on our site.
