To scan items with a barcode on the app, select the Scan button located on the bottom panel.
You may need to search the store you are adding from or select Enable Universal Mode.
Please note, if you are scanning items with universal barcodes, for example, brands sold across multiple retailers such as Samsung and KitchenAid via the mobile app, results should appear. However, stores like IKEA have their own products with their own unique barcodes; therefore, our scanner will not be able to capture the information.
You can still continue adding those items through the app by sharing the product page or on a desktop with the extension button.
In the event you are having trouble, please email us at customercare@myregistry.com with a screenshot of the barcode and the name of the store.
