Yes. You can adjust notification settings in your account preferences.

To turn off gift purchase notifications, please sign into your MyRegistry account then click SETTINGS and Notifications & options. Under NOTIFICATIONS on the left side, you can uncheck the option(s) to get notified when items have been purchased via email and/or text.
