Managing a guest departure is crucial, especially if names have already been drawn. This guide walks you through what to do if a guest leaves after the draw, ensuring that you can easily reassign matches or opt not to, depending on your preference.

Tip: You will receive an email any time a guest leaves your event.

        A Guest Leaves Before Names Are Drawn

            -A guest leaving before names are drawn has no effect on matches.

        A Guest Leaves After Names Are Drawn (but not notified)

            -A guest leaving after names are drawn affects two other guests:

                *The person they were buying a gift for.

                *The person who was buying a gift for them.

For example, if Bob buys for Sally, and Sally buys for Kevin, removing Sally will leave Bob and Kevin without matches.

        -Log in to MyRegistry.com.

        -A pop-up will inform you of the guest's departure and the affected matches.

        -Choose one of the following:


            *Reassign Matches: Click the Reassign button.

            *Don’t Reassign: Click the Don’t Reassign button to leave things as they are.

Mobile

        -Log in to MyRegistry.com.

        -A pop-up will inform you about the guest's departure and the affected matches.

        -Choose one of the following:


            *Reassign Matches: Tap the Reassign button.

            *Don’t Reassign: Tap the Don’t Reassign button.
